Couples Therapy
Because VDC’s therapists are trained in Mediation & Collaborative Divorce and have a broader Divorce Specialty, they know what is at stake for couples wanting couples therapy. They are also equipped to offer Decision Counseling, for couples on the fence about whether to stay or move towards divorce. Decision Counseling, performed prior to any Couples Therapy, can ensure that couples are clear about their contributions to what’s working/not working in the relationship, and what it will take to make their relationship work in the longrun. Decision Counseling can also fine-tune the goals of Couples' Therapy so that the Couples therapy is more focused, efficient and effective.
